OUR PROGRAMME

Our diverse programmes serve the community through healthcare, spiritual activities, cultural preservation, and social welfare initiatives.

Community Health

A charitable dispensary is organised by this institution. A doctor attends the patients once a week. Often about 100 patients gather there to receive free treatment and medicine.

A few devoted students of the town of Malda raise funds for the free distribution of medicine out of their own pocket money and from individual donors.

Community Health

Temple & Worship

A small shrine to Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother and Swami Vivekananda. Daily worship, morning and evening Aratrikam, prayer, practice of meditation and concentration and spiritual discourses are held here regularly with proper devotion.

Cultural Programme & Yoga

Sarada Tirtham conducts cultural programme based on our heritage every year. Classes in Vedic chanting, Vivekananda pathachakra are organized often and yoga classes and yogic camps in a month.

Young students mostly attend these classes and it improves their moral standards and personality.

Kitchen and Gardening

At Sarada Tirtham, students actively participate in hands-on training programs focused on cultivating and maintaining the campus kitchen garden. Through these sessions, they learn essential skills such as soil preparation, planting, watering, and sustainable gardening techniques. The vegetables and greens harvested from this garden are fresh and organic, and they are thoughtfully utilized in preparing wholesome and nutritious meals for the students residing in the hostel, ensuring both health benefits and a sense of self-reliance.

Donations & Cloth Distribution

Every year Sarada Tirtham distributes winter cloth to the distress of this locality and also when authority gives vain cloth to the commoners who are under severe poverty on the occasion of Mahalaya, poor people in distress are also being helped monetarily during the year.

Guest House

There is a small guest house in the Ashram. The guest house is for those who could come here to be bathed in the holy atmosphere of the Ashram.
